We are on a smallholding with outbuildings. Does the distance matter?

Yes, and good installers plan for it: long runs between the array, the house and the outbuildings need correctly sized cabling, or voltage drop quietly eats the system's output. Mention the distances and what each building runs when you post the job, and quotes can be engineered for your layout rather than a standard suburban roof.

Can one system carry the house and the borehole?

Often, yes. The borehole pump can run off the main system's daytime output or get its own dedicated solar pump, depending on the pump, the depth and when you need the water. Include the pump's details in your job post and let verified contractors propose both routes with numbers you can compare.

Solar Installers in Zwavelpoort

Zwavelpoort is Pretoria East's countryside: smallholdings, stables and newer security estates at the Bronberg, east of the N4. Properties here tend to look after themselves, with boreholes, big gates and long driveways, and solar fits that self-sufficient streak naturally. Verified installers quote on Completo, and your money sits in a SafePay trust account, released stage by stage as you approve.

Designing solar for the Bronberg's big properties

Ground mounts where the land, not the roof, is the best real estate: easy to clean, easy to expand, tilted right.
Borehole and pressure pumps wired to run on daytime sun, so the garden and the troughs stop depending on the grid.
Long cable runs from array to house to outbuildings, engineered for the distance rather than hoped through it.
Estate installs where HOA placement and contractor rules apply, handled before installation day.
The paperwork that makes it legal: a certificate of compliance for the electrical work, and City of Tshwane registration for grid-tied systems.

Big scope, staged money

A smallholding install is a serious scope: equipment, trenching, mounting, wiring and commissioning. On Completo you fund the job into the SafePay trust account once you accept a quote. Completo never holds the money, and each stage is released only when you approve it, so neither side works on faith alone.
