Privacy Policy.

1. What we collect

Account details (name, email, phone), job and quote content, in-app messages, and, for contractors, verification (KYC) documents and payout identity details required to set up protected payments.

2. Why we collect it (POPIA lawful basis)

To operate the marketplace, verify contractors, protect payments through SafePay, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations and prevent fraud. Marketing communication is strictly opt-in.

3. How it is protected

KYC documents live in a private store accessible only to you and vetted verification staff via short-lived signed links; every access is logged. Sensitive payout identity details are held in an access-controlled record that is never shown on the marketplace. Raw bank account numbers are never stored by Completo; we keep only a masked reference.

Phone numbers and email addresses shared in chat are automatically masked to keep work and payments protected on-platform.

4. Sharing

Payment details required to hold and release funds are shared with the payment partner that operates the SafePay trust account. Your money sits in the SafePay trust account; Completo never holds it. We do not sell personal information.

5. Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, for example which pages people visit. It works with cookies or similar technology. We also use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure whether our adverts lead to sign-ups or posted jobs.

We also keep a small first-party cookie that remembers how you first found us (for example which advert or search brought you here), so we know which of our adverts work.

Where you have opted in to marketing, we may share hashed (scrambled) contact details with Google and other advertising partners. This is used only to measure our adverts and to show you relevant ones, never to sell your data.

Marketing stays opt-in. We only send you marketing if you tick the optional box ("Send me updates and useful offers from Completo. You can unsubscribe any time."), which is unticked by default.

You can opt out at any time: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, withdraw your marketing consent by contacting us, manage cookies in your browser settings, adjust your Google ad settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

6. Your rights

Under POPIA you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Account deletion anonymises your personal data while preserving the transactional records we must keep by law.
