What a fair paving quote includes
The base: excavation depth and compaction named, matched to foot traffic, cars or heavier vehicles.
The paver type and who supplies it, so the delivery photo can confirm it.
Drainage: falls and channels where water pools or the ground slopes.
Edging and jointing sand in the final stage, and removal of the old surface where needed.
Why the base photo milestone matters
The base is hidden once the pavers go down and is where paving usually fails. On Completo the excavation and base stage cannot be marked complete without a photo of the compacted base, and your money stays in the SafePay trust account until you approve each stage.
